Jill Biden (2021–present)
Jill Biden is known for her advocacy in education, military families, and cancer research. She is a lifelong educator and the first First Lady to continue her career while in office, teaching at a community college. Betty Ford (1974–1977)
Betty Ford was open about her struggles with breast cancer and substance abuse, bringing attention to both issues. She was a staunch advocate for the Equal Rights Amendment and women’s rights.
